Panama! Panama-a! love it!
Amazing beaches, amazing people, amazing town, amazing snorkeling. So fun!
We found another cute, brightly colored hotel and took a quick water taxi to a beach as soon as we got here. White sand, crystal clear teal water, palm trees. Its like a Sandals resort ad without the cheesy ¨I had the time of my life¨ song from Dirty Dancing.
We then had a wonderful dinner and hit up the hopping night club. So funny. Rasta guys dancing to reggaeton and lighting blunts on the deck above the water and sunburned gringas drinking piƱo y vodka....that would be me. We had a great night and as expected, the next morning was a painful one when we woke up early to go snorkeling.
A boat ride, a lot of sun, swallowing salt water and bobbing up and down are NOT good for a hangover. I dont recommend it. At all.
After a couple very painful hours I felt better and was able to enjoy the amazing colors of the coral and fish and the beautiful water and islands and beach. I am so lucky to be seeing all these things! I heart Bocas del Toro.
Now I am at the internet place applying for language schools in Guatemala! I love how plans have changed! TodayI got the greatest idea to go to Guatemala after I meet Nate in Belize (in 3 days! Woo hoo!) and take more Spanish classes and do some volunteering. So excited. So that will get me home the end of October (in time for Halloween and the election-- yay!)
Okay, now I have to go meet the Swiss brothers for dinner and then `ladies night` at some bar called Aqua Lounge. Ha. No tomar cervezas para me. Solamente agua a noche....
Ciao!
