We're here! After waiting in the airport for about 8 hours for Nate's plane to circle because of poor visibility and then head back to Cancun to re-fuel and wait for the weather, (he said it was really scary) we were finally reunited in a little hotel by the airport. yay!
It was so rainy and dark but we were optimistic when we woke up and got a flight to Caye Caulker. GORGEOUS!!! The whole island is about a mile long and is all white sand and no cars. Our room is right on the beach and we have a dock with a thatched roof hut and 2 hammocks. so amazing!!! We had a great dinner last nite and then went to the 'I and I' reggae bar and made friends with a super stoned rasta guy, Gilbert. love it.
Today we laid in the sun on the dock until it started storming (we are convinced we will get to tell a great hurricane story) and now the sun is back out and we are heading to lunch.
